Search and rescue (SAR) using APRS

Telecommunications in more cases can save lives. This is an screenshot of an application that using AX25 (APRS) technology can track objects, persons or teams to help in SAR tasks. Hamradio operators are using APRS since years ago, and they have a robust network around the world. The most popular frequencies are: 144.390 and 144.800 Mhz; you can check your local frequency at  http://aprsisce.wikidot.com/doc:frequencies
